Maternity sessions can be photographed either in the studio as part of a maternity newborn bundle or outdoors in the warm glow of a sunset.
The client wardrobe is accessible for studio maternity sessions, with many incredible dresses specifically designed with maternity in mind, including some amazing Reclamation Design pieces.
For outdoor maternity sessions I highly recommend considering hiring a dress that will make you feel amazing.
Maternity sessions are best photographed between 30-34 weeks of gestation.
As I tend to book 6 months in advance, some months even further I recommend booking your maternity session as soon as you feel comfortable to do so.

For maternity sessions I have 3 different looks that I generally do within a session:
Dresses (can be/encouraged to be used from the studio wardrobe)
Jeans, White bra and a white linen top
Bra and Undies
I recommend bringing a nude coloured strapless bra with you to your session.
I always recommend neutral tones for the studio, minimal patterns, focussing more on texture. White, beige, browns work best in the studio.

Absolutely! All of my sessions in the studio are family centred celebrations and I love incorporating the closest people who are going to share the joy of your precious baby’s arrival.

Usually I like to make the call on the day of your session, by lunch time. Cloudy weather is totally fine – I can choose a location to make the most of those beautiful clouds and soft filtered light. If it is going to rain then we will reschedule.

You will receive your gallery within 4 weeks after your session date.

I am always so excited to get home and look at your images, knowing the magic we have just captured! You will receive a sneak peek posted online on Instagram a few days after your session.

I highly recommend having your hair or makeup done, or both, if you usually have it done. I recommend:
